The City is in receipt of an application for a Planned Development (two buildings on one lot) at 629 Kenmount Road (DA26-0030) to accommodate a combined restaurant and drive-through use. The application is considered a planned development as the proponent is proposing a second principal building on the lot in addition to the already approved gas bar. A planned development may be considered by Council, subject to meeting the conditions outlined in Section 4.21 of the Mount Pearl Development Regulations 2010.

The subject property is located in the Commercial – Highway (CH) Land Use Zone. A combined restaurant and drive-through use is permitted within the CH Zone, subject to Regulation 7.11 – Drive Through Use of the City’s Development Regulations.
